Van Halen Banned Brown M&Ms.
Every time Van Halen would perform, the band would specifically ask that there were M&Ms in the dressing room, but with the brown ones taken out. You might think that this is a case of rock stars being spoiled, but there was a surprisingly good reason behind it. Van Halen knew that if the candies were taken out, then all their other requests had been followed.
Ozzy Osbourne Bit The Head Off A Bat.
During a performance, one of his fans threw an unconscious but live bat on stage. Ozzy, mistaking the live rodent for a stage prop, picked it up and promptly bit its head off. When he realized what he'd done, he knew he was in trouble and went for rabies shots immediately after the show.
Sum 41 Was Sued Over Throwing A Hot Dog.
Back in 2002, Michael Sudore filed two lawsuits against Sum 41, seeking damages of $6 million. Keith Richards Doesn't Sleep.
Surely this one can't be 100% true, can it? The longest that Keith Richards has gone without sleep is nine days, which we suppose is almost as impressive as not sleeping at all, considering the amount of awesome music he created at the cost of being sleep deprived.
The Members Of The Outlawz Smoked Tupac Shakur's Ashes.

In 1969, a few years before Nelson became famous, his house caught on fire and his friend called to tell him. Nelson rushed home and ran into the fire to save not his belongings, but the weed. He later explained, "I wasn't brave running in the fire to get my dope...I was trying to keep the firemen from finding it and turning me over to the police." He succeeded in saving his guitar and the drug, but many of his demo tapes were lost.
