Little known to the world is a stunning desert oasis of Lençóis is Maranhenses National Park in Maranh??o, northeastern of Brazil. The Namib Desert in Africa

The Namib Desert is always referred to as the world's oldest desert and has been in presence for about 43 million years, staying unaltered in its present form for the last 2 million years. It was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in June 2013. The Namib is the only desert on earth that is placed on a coast.
