1. Pando in Utah

Pando, also called the Trembling Giant, is a clonal male quaking aspen which is believed to have one massive underground root system. It is estimated that Pando is 6 million kg in weight and 80,000 years old in age, but now may be suffering from death for reasons unknown.

Jomon Sugi, which got its name from Jomon period of Japanese pre-history, is located on Yakushima in Japan. It is a large Cryptomeria tree with 25.3 m in height and 16.4 m in trunk circumference. The age of the tree is estimated to range between 2,170 and 7,200 years old.

Alerce Milenario, also called "Gran Abuelo", is a monotypic genus in the cypress family native to the Andes Mountains. The tree, with 60 m in height and 4.26 m in trunk diameter, is estimated to be 3622 years old.
